We are currently living through a time of accelerated environmental collapse.
The global economic system has caused rising emissions of greenhouse gases that are thought to be the main cause of global climate change.
What is the role of indigenous people in reversing and preventing environmental collapse? Is it possible to prevent further damage and begin a process of Earth restoration?
The knowledge and wisdom of Indigenous people is very much alive today and may be the key for the survival of humanity. What are some of the key teachings and experiences of Indigenous leaders today that can help indigenous, rural and urban communities strive forward into the future? How can ancestral legacy help us as humanity to create a planetary future in balance with Mother Earth?
In this six-week journey into Indigenous Ecology, we will explore and answer some of these questions

Actualmente, estamos viviendo un proceso acelerado de colapso ambiental.
El sistema económico global ha provocado un aumento de las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero que se cree que son la principal causa del cambio climático global.
¿Cuál es el papel de los pueblos indígenas en revertir y prevenir la degradación de los ecosistemas? ¿Es posible prevenir más daños y comenzar un proceso de restauración de la tierra?
El conocimiento de los pueblos indígenas está vivo y es clave para la supervivencia del la humanidad ¿Qué enseñanzas y experiencias clave de los líderes indígenas contemporáneos pueden ayudar a las comunidades originarias, rurales y urbanas a avanzar hacia el futuro? ¿Cómo puede el legado ancestral ayudarnos como humanidad a crear un futuro planetario en equilibrio con la Madre Tierra ?

Ilarion “Larry” es el visionario detrás de Wisdom Weavers, el fundador del proyecto y el orador principal de esta organización. Criado de la manera tradicional Unangan (Aleut) y recibió su nombre Unangan “Kuuyux” a los 4 años.
El nombre se le da a una persona en cada vida entre su gente. Kuuyux significa un brazo que se extiende desde el cuerpo, un portador del conocimiento antiguo hasta los tiempos modernos, un mensajero. Hoy vive el legado de su nombre.

Mona is a member of the Colorado River Indian Tribes of Parker, Arizona. She is known for her social, spiritual leadership and activism and is a prominent national and international speaker.

Alex is a 28-year-old indigenous leader, Human Rights Defender, of the A´I Cofan Nationality of Ecuador, Sucumbíos province. He is from the Cofan Avie ancestral community. He comes from a family lineage of wise guardians of the ancestral Medicine of Yaje (Ayahuasca).
He is an activist in defense of the rights of indigenous nationalities and nature. He was part of the Ministry of the Environment in protection of the Cofan Bermejo Ecological Reserve (his territory) and is currently part of the Council of the Alianza Ceibo Foundation.

Alex es un líder indígena de 28 años, Defensor de los Derechos Humanos, de la Nacionalidad A´I Cofan de Ecuador, provincia de Sucumbíos. Es de la comunidad ancestral Cofan Avie. Proviene de un linaje familiar de sabios guardianes de la Medicina ancestral del Yaje (Ayahuasca).
Es un activista en defensa de los derechos de las nacionalidades y la naturaleza indígenas. Formó parte del Ministerio de Medio Ambiente en protección de la Reserva Ecológica Cofan Bermejo (su territorio) y actualmente forma parte del Consejo de la Fundación Alianza Ceibo.

Drupon Lama Dorje is a Buddhist monk who was born in the small village of Limi in a nomadic community of the Himalayan Region of Tibet. Nowadays he travels the world skillfully teaching Tibetan Philosophy of Life & meditation while also advocating for topics such as environmental regeneration, intercultural unity, and resilient education. Drupon Lama Dorje teaches a unique view of Tibetan Philosophy which points to the source of all our global issues as stemming from the human mind.
His vision is to awaken the happiness of all beings,
unite all cultures in global peace, and regenerate our home, the Earth.

Su visión es despertar la felicidad de todos los seres, unir a todas las culturas en la paz global y regenerar nuestro hogar, la Tierra.

• The reconciliation between the masculine and feminine, Men's Nation and Women's Nation
• Remembering, recreating or creating anew a narrative for the Sacred Masculine
• Addressing the Archetypal Wounding that occurred in our misunderstanding and abuse of technology in prayer, ceremony and science
